Little Shop of Horrors

Maya Jean is a recent graduate of DeSales University with a degree in Musical Theatre. While at DeSales, she was seen as Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, making her especially thrilled to revisit this beloved production. She was most recently seen as Juliet in Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival’s Romeo and Juliet. This summer, Maya also served as Assistant Director for Philly’s premiere of The Great Privation at Theatre Exile. Rodd Cyrus just completed his run playing Harry Houdini in the Tony-winning revival of Ragtime at Lincoln Center. He can be seen on TV shows such as The Equalizer (CBS), Elsbeth (CBS), Jimmy Kimmel Live! (ABC), as well as independent features, such as Doctor, Doctor (Apple TV) and 72 Hours (Netflix). Off-Broadway: Houdini in "Ragtime" and Giuseppe in "The Light in the Piazza" (NY City Center). Regional: Valor (The Guthrie) and Mamma Mia! (The Hollywood Bowl). Melanie Puente Ervin is a multifaceted creative determined to use honest storytelling to spark lasting change. She believes that artistry has the power to inspire hope in humanity and urges people to lead with empathy and love. After graduating from AMDA and a few years in the theatre industry she has broadened her path to include writing and producing her own music, films, and other forms of digital media. She has just shared her first single “Must’ve Been Love” which is streaming an all platforms under her pen name MPUERV and is awaiting the release of her highly anticipated debut record First Long Song, Last Heartbreak <3. In such uncertain times, the one thing we must hold onto is our ability to connect with one another and to lift each other up. Avela Fongoqa is a South African–born performer based in Los Angeles. She is thrilled to be stepping back onto Skid Row, this time as Ronnette, after recently appearing as Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors with Altadena Music Theatre. An AMDA graduate, Avela has performed at venues including Disneyland and Vitello’s and has worked alongside multiple Grammy-nominated artists. Outside of theatre, she is the creator and host of the faith-based podcast In the Beginning: A Bible Story for the Girlies, which has reached thousands of listeners around the world.

Caitlin Zerra Rose is an NYC based actor, singer and creative. She can be seen in feature films (Confess, Fletch, The Boston Strangler) and festival-recognized independent films (Magic is Cool, My Baby My Doll). Her stage credits include Off—Broadway (Cafe Resistance at TNC), various developmental works and readings, appearances at Birdland and 54 Below. Favorite professional credits include Sweeney Todd, Cabaret, Lizzie: The Musical, and Oklahoma. Caitlin has performed at the Lincoln Center Gala, with the Cape Symphony Orchestra and the South Shore Conservatory's orchestra. She is a resident singer at Gayles Broadway Rose in Times Square.
